New Phone and stuff
Well we have gotten things moved over to the new server. My brother-in-law does my hosting and got fed up with Brazilian hackers busting into his server. So he’s ditching the server and has moved us over to Dreamhost. Same great service, with THEM dealing with the hacking hassles.
In other news, my wonderful wife agreed to let me have a new cellphone, even though I just got a “new” (re. used) phone several months ago. So I picked up the new Treo 700w from Verizon. I already had the data plan so I now have a very good phone/PDA combo. I’ve had it for almost 2 weeks now and love it. Great battery life, all the PDA functionality I want, and with the data plan I can get and receive emails. Works well with my wife since she’s on the road quite a bit. Anyway, if you’ve been thinkin about this phone, I highly recommend it. I have a 512MB SD card for storage, downloaded an app to overclock it a bit and speed things up, and installed Wisbar Advanced to give me some added functionality. So now it’s running like a champ. This should do me for the next oh… 6mo
