Well just got back from Germany this weekend. It was a blast. We saw castles, we ate bratwursts, drank beer, and even used the subway. We rented a car and got a brand new BMW 316i. I highly recommend if you have the dough. It had a “never lost” system (that’s what the rental gal translated it into), basically a GPS system. Problem was, it was all in German. While I do speak some, that was beyond me. So we relied on the directions of others. I’m going to do a full write up with more pictures later. But here is a preview:

Man, why do the damn card dealer service centers have to be so inept? Had to take my car in to get the speedometer fixed (it stops working after about 10 min of driving), and a fuse keeps blowing. That was yestday at 7:30am, as per my appointment. It’s now almost 2pm the next day and they still don’t have any concrete answers on either of the problem. If it wasn’t for the fact that they are both electrical problems I never would have taken it to the dealer, now I’m at their mercy. Good thing it’s not my only vehicle.
Oh, but the good news is, because it’s taking so long they are going to throw in a free oil change!! Woohoo!! (insert me being thoroughly unimpressed)

All right, so not quite THAT amazing. But never the less a change from the past. Once again trying to catch up with technology. To that end I have changed the look of things around here, again. My website host, and brother in law, has updated me with the latest in weblogs. It’s Moveable Type (you can hit the link at the bottom), and it’s pretty groovy.
Course it’s going to take me a month to get all my old stuff converted over. But hey what else am I going to do during work hours.
Hopefully this will make it easier for me to post, and therefore I’ll post more. Course nobody really visits here anyway… but what the hell. It amuses me and that’s what counts.
So if you are a frequent visitor (yeah, I’m laughing at that too), then you’ll just have to put up with the mess until I get it all re-organized and looking the way I want. Basically that means I need to post enough that everything looks the way it’s supposed to. As well as finish converting everything over to this new format. Oh well, I don’t plan on going anywhere for a while.
